I have over 20 years experience teaching, and over 5 years tutoring children, and worked as an adult Literacy Volunteer. I have also been a volunteer, Reading to groups of children at Storytime at the library. I love helping people learn and grow and improving their quality of life, as well as their self-esteem and having an "I can do it!" attitude. I have had excellent rapport with my students and a high success rate. I have CPR training, continuing education seminars, 20 hrs. Recent literacy training . I love to read , swim, participate in aquatics classes , walk ride my bike , especially near the beach. I love the ocean ! I also enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 grown sons. I also love to travel and learn about new places! I also enjoy helping the elderly. Tutoring is very rewarding to me and I love the one on one experience to get to know my students better and meet their academic, social and emotional needs.
